Our Website Has Been Renewed

I am pleased to announce the launch of our renewed website.

Unlike many business websites, this site was not developed by a web design agency. I built it myself using WordPress and a child theme of the Lightning free theme, with support from AI and experienced advisors.

Building with AI

AI played a significant role throughout the project. It helped evaluate the website, identify areas for improvement, and even suggested HTML, CSS, and PHP code that could be implemented directly in WordPress.

By combining AI-generated ideas with practical advice from experienced professionals, I was able to complete the website in approximately three weeks.

AI Knowledge and Human Experience

The experience reminded me of two characters from the Moomin stories.

Snork represents knowledge, logic, and analysis. Snufkin represents experience, observation, and practical wisdom.

In many ways, AI felt like Snork—providing vast knowledge and technical solutions—while human advisors resembled Snufkin, offering judgment and insight gained through real-world experience.

In procurement terms, Snork might be a data-driven analyst, while Snufkin would be the ultimate wise matured buyer.

One of Snufkin's famous quotes came to mind during this work:

“The most important thing is to know what you want.”

That simple idea guided many of the decisions made during the website renewal.
